Dear Anyone, could you please tell me how to get rid of an annoying password box that appears every time I start W2000 Pro. I have never entered a password. Also it keeps telling me that my password will expire in a given number of days.

Go to Control Panel, double-click Networks, Change the settings from: Client for Microsoft Networks to: Windows Logon.

Hit apply and then okay. The logon box should be gone when you reboot.
