Opening starts with a kid who is trouble and is considering not going on camping trip with some other teenagers and a mentor (I think).

Into the movie said mentor slips off a cliff and breaks his leg/gets knocked unconscious? They end up fighting off a bear while trying to hike back to the trail or something? This is killing me not knowing

It MIGHT be but to be honest I am not sure... Thank you. I will try looking for it anyway :)

Hopefully that is it. If not there are a lot of movie buffs who may have more insight on what it could be.

Definitely NOT bushwacked. It wasn't a comedy. Was a somewhat serious movie.
