Honda 3813 won't start and leaks gas out of mysterious.
    Hello,
I am new to this site so this is my first question... I recently got an old Honda HT3813 lawn tractor that was running great last night. Today, I fired it up and it would only run in the choked position. As soon as I unchoke it, it starts irradically idling up and down... eventually stalling. When it stalls, it continually dumps gas out of a little metal thing attached to the frame under the carb. The carb is hooked to this little "cannister" for lack of a better word by a rubber hose. This is not the supply line so I doubt this is a fuel filter. So... Why is it dumping fuel (until I turn the key fully off). What is that container (right by the serial # behind the muffler)... is it a carb problem? I have tried every site imaginable including the one that everyone recommends here... with no luck... I think it might be a fuel catch or something.. I have no idea... HELP!

The basics here is it sounds to me that the needle valve working off the carb float it sticking. I would expose the carb fuel bowl and check for dirt and proper alignment for the fuel needle setting in the seat correctly.

This is the first thing to check. Clean all of it out with carb cleaner.

I'm still looking for the manual or blow out in parts. If I find it I will post back
