I have been on Depo-Provera for more then 5 years. I have been told that after 2, I should take calcium and prenatal pills, which I have been (probably not as good as I should). Anyway, my question is, now that I would like to get pregnant, are my chances limited due to me being on it for so long? I have had no problems with the shot, but have heard from other women that have been on it that it can take over a year to get their cycles back. But they have only been on it for a year or two, and I have been for 5. Am I in trouble?

I've been on the shot for about 6 years. I recently went off it and onto a pill, I started ovulating immediately. I think it differs from person to person. Good luck!
