    Water through shower drain
Heard some noise in my master bath, looked and saw waste water coming up through shower drain. We plunged it and it went away. Possible causes? Septic tank was just emptied in May. Thanks

Hey Florida Brian. Greetings from Florida Tom.

What was flushed or drained just before you had the backup? In any respect you have a partial blockage downstream of the shower. This can be remedied by snaking out the bathroom lavatory roof vent. Put out enough cable to reach the base and about 20 more feet. Then squint a garden hose down the vent to flush it all away. Good luck, Tom
