Well here's my story three days ago my boyfriend and I were having sexual intercourse,and it was hurting me so bad that we had to stop.. It wasn't hurting in my vagina area.it was hurting in my upper stomach,like right above the vagina.. it still hurts when I just cough,and I get big pains that feel like a needle is stabbing me.what can this be,I just want a clue bef/ore I go to the doctors.can someone help please?thanks

It could be an STD or an infection in your vagina. There's a number of things that could be the cause of pain during intercourse.

The best thing to do is go to your doctor or nearest walk in clinic.

Well I made an appt. with my doctor but its not until June 4th and I'm afraid I won't have these pains by then.so I'm trying to get clues on what it could be

Did you explain to your doctor that you are in pain? They should be able to squeeze you in before then. Call back and see if there's any way they can see you sooner. Otherwise, try an urgent care facility.

If you say the pain is in your upper stomach area, it could be gas. Sometimes gas can cause weird back or stomach pains and can vary from sharp to dull. It could've been from your body being contorted or stretched in an unusual position during sex or even from the contracting muscles during climax.

Best way to know for sure is to explain clearly what you are feeling to your doctor.

Okay-- well go to a walk-in clinic.

Do you have any health coverage? Go to the ER. It could be at worst a cyst in your ovaries.

Don't wait till later.

I am experiences the same thing. My boyfriend and I were having sex and the pain started and it got so bad we had to stop. I curled up and cried myself to sleep it hurt so bad. I went to the doctor and explained it and they thought I had a cist on my ovaries. They gave me an ultra sound and found nothing. The pain comes and goes usually worse after my period and it hurts when I cough and still sometimes when I have sex. I haven't gone back to the doctor yet but I am going to go. I also cannot get pregnant. I don't know if the two are related? Are you having trouble conceiving? I have a 4 year old and I want another baby but it isn't happening. Life is so depressing! Please let me know what you find out. I'll keep you posted.
