    Eye infection
    I have a 6week old kitten who's eye looked like it had a lot of cold in it so I used a warm cloth to clean it but it look s bad with a lot lot of pus like stuff in it. He can not seen to openit and now it looks swollen. What should I do.

    Obviously your kittens immune system not developed well enough yet to fight off a low grade infection. I would suggest taking the kitten to the vet.

    Upper respiratory infections are very common in young kittens. You should take him to the vet so he can get medication.

    I agree you need to take the kitten to the vet. My neighbor didn't and her cat lost its eye. Also Please get your cat fixed as soon as possible. I live in a trailer park where so many people don't and there are a lot of unwanted cats running feral.

    I have same problem with my cat and I am trying all sorts of herbal eye baths and at the moment I am steaming dettol in a pot and putting it into the same room as cat, I hope this works will get back to you on the progress or other wise vet as well...
