Too control Astrial Projection
I have only done it a handful of time in the past 10 years... all of those times being completely sporadic and unprovoked.
The most recent was about 2 years ago...
I was standing at the end up my bed... I looked at my sleeping body behind me and turned around to a vast desert. I looked down in front of me and saw a wooden box. I touched it and it toppled over spilling wet sand and maggots everywhere. I wasn't nessicarily scared, but yelled out for my moms boyfriend... through the process of returning to my body, I was still calling out to him until I was completely awake and came to the realization I was struck with Sleep Paralysis. I was back to the real world but unable to move and continued calling out to my mothers boyfriend (who was the only other person home at the time). He ran in my room and asked what was wrong. I jerked my body around and said it was nothing.
I just want a deeper understanding as to why my astrial self takes me to these strange and seemingly irrelevant places. How can I control myself to do this at will? I have tried meditation and concentration... but I am so scatter brained as it is... it's really hard to accomplish such a feat. Any thoughts?
