    Notices on a levy
I owe an old amount to a collection agency for a medical bill. We went to small claims court because I hadn't paid on my account for 2 months. I did not agree with the amount of interest they were charging and it turned out that they agreed it was not right either. We got that all settled and I am supposed to pay them 1200.00. I haven't contacted them and they haven't contacted myself either. I am afraid they are going to levy my bank account. I was curious if they have to contact you before hand or if they can take out what ever amount I have in there? Do they have to submit a letter to me forwarning me or does it just happen? I know that I need to contact them but I have been in the hospital a lot since our court date. I can't afford to pay right now as I am catching up from being out sick for a couple months now. I will make an arraingement with them for getting the amout paid but I was curious also if I can only pay them a little amount a month if they can say that amount isn't enough and I can't afford to pay them any more can they deny my offer?
    Thanks

If the court gave them the judgement, they merely have to file a motion for an attachmnet of your bank account or a garnishment of you pay.

Normally you will know when they money is attached or gone.
