I accidentally hit a 14-2 wire with a hammer while working in my garage. The insulation is not broken but the wire is now a little flatter on one side should I have the wire replaced?

If you still have power and the insulation isn't broken you should be OK. You could cut the cable, install a box w/cover and splice it together but you may need to pull in about 2" more cable, is there any slack?
