AC on Newer Tempstar PGX3 unit won't come on
    Hi,

I recently purchased a house with a Newly installed Tempstar PGX3 AC/Heating Unit. (Installed in 2007)
I used the Heat over the winter and it worked fine, but when I tried to use the AC yesterday, I noticed it was actually getting hotter in the house. I went outside only to see that the Fan was not moving and noticed that the compressor was not coming on.

I have checked all the circuit breakers I could find and the pull disconnect and didn’t notice any issue there.

Here is the web link of the Ac unit I have,

    TEMPSTAR® Heating & Cooling

On the thermostat, I can hear it click like it turned on and it says "cool on" but it seems like it’s only the blower that’s working.

Anyone have an idea on where I should look next before I call the repair guy…?

Ok, just adding a bit more info

My Thermostat is a Honeywell TH6220D
    This is how its connected..

    "R" that's jumpered to "Rh"
"G" that's on the green wire
"Y" that's on the yellow wire
    "C" that's on a blue wire
    "W" that's on a brown wire
    "Y2" that's on a white wire

In the system settings of the unit its set to the 2heat/1cool setting

Also, I went outside and took the access panel off and pushed in the "contractor?" and the AC fan and compressor came right on, so it has to be that the system is not getting a signal to turn it on. I then went and bought a new thermostat and it does the same thing... so maybe a bad wire between the unit and the t-stat?

Anyone know this AC unit and know if there are any reset buttons I'm missing? I can't seem to find any on unit itself. I did find two 5amp car style fuses and checked those and they are OK.

Not sure why it is on 2 heat 1 cool from they way the wiring looks should be 1 heat 2 cool. But from the type of unit you have it should be on 1 heat 1 cool conventinal. If the blower comes on then I don't think you have a t-stat problem it must be something outside.
