My Maytag gas dryer does not heat up
My Maytag gas dryer does not heat up enough to dry the clothes, when I turn it on it feels like its getting hot inside, but after I check on it 10 minutes later it doesn't fell that warm anymore.

The most common reason for dryers not to get hot enough is that there is insufficient air passing through the dryer. This is almost always caused by plugged vent lines. I suggest you open the vent lines and clean them out.

They make cleaning kits and brushes specifically for this task. Besides that, cleaning your dryer vent lines removes a significant fire hazard.

In your case, the fact that it starts to get hot indicates that the flame is firing. I suspect that the sensors eventually get hot and don't cool off, so the flame shuts down.
