I can't remember the name of this movie I saw when I was a kid and it's been haunting me for ages. All I remember is that it was about a kidnapped young girl kept underground, like near a subway or subway car. The kidnapper would go down this ladder from a man hole ? And bring her food. The scene that really sticks out to me is when he (the kidnapper) tried to go after her (kill her) with a long screwdriver. The lighting in the move was dark. That is all I remember...

I am 28 and I saw it mid to late 80's. It might have been a 70's or 80's movie.
