Are clip in extensions bad for your hair?
Ive always had medium length hair, past my shoulders and love length so I purchased some human hair extensions They are 24" and clip in and I love them! I love them so much I hardly ever go without them! Then I noticed the other day when I took them out to wash my hair that my own hair is now considerably shorter! Like at least 3-4 inches and the ends look destroyed! I am wondering if my extensions are destroying my own hair, could this be true? And if it is any tips to prevent breakage?

Your adding weight to your hair, unnecessary weight. You should lay off the extensions and use it only once in a while. There is really no way of preventing breakage, the only way to not have it happen to you is if you don't do the things that cause it to get damaged, or at least moderate it.

I don't think it ruins your hair I've used clip in extensions loads of times maybe you just need a trim I think its probably the safest way to have extensions :)
