I changed a light switch in a bedroom and when I was finished I noticed all the outlets in that room stopped working along with a couple outlets in a bedroom next door. How can I fix it or do I need an electrician. Thanks to anyone that can help.

Lets go back and open that box with the light switch. Take a test meter with you. Tell us all the colors of the wires to the switch and then also any others passing through the box. Once you do that we will then use the meter.
