I'm 20 years old and I was charged with theft under 5,000 from my employer. I took $700 over a months time I was caught by loss prevention and was given a finger print date and a court date. I was asked to come in and resign instead of being fired. So I'm getting a lawyer appointed to me because obviously I don't have the money for a lawyer but I do have the $700 to pay back. This is my first offence I'm a good girl I did it to pay bills.. and I know it was wrong so I was just wondering what could come out of this is there anyone that went through this that could give me some anserous? Thanks!

You need to consult a lawyer as theft from employer is treated veryseriously, you may be able to get a discharge which is probably your best bet.
