I have red blotches on my face, they appeard out of nowhere Sunday afternoon. Tey resemble pimples but they hurt like hell. I have them around my eyes and even on my eye lids. They have caused my eye to swell and was wondering if they were hives or could they be an extremely late break out seeing I have only ever had pimples once, and it was only one or two?

You should see a doctor if they don't go away. It sounds like it could be eczema or possibly an allergic reaction to something.

What you are describing sounds like a rash. Skin can become dry and very sensitive to light or touch. Another symptom is “blotchy” and red skin with the appearance similar to hives or a rash. Please go see a dermatologist about your symptom.
