    A credit card garnishment
The company got a judgement and are currently garnishing wages, my question is... say the judgement amount id $9500.. and with fees and court costs it's at $10,700 and 7% on the time it takes to pay it. Back... So we have paid the $9500 back... Can I request my employer to stop the with holding? Now?. or after the $10,700.. Please let me know

Well you would have to wait till you pay back the 10,700 (plus interest... 7% per year I assume?) before the garnishment will end. I don't think you can actually even ask them to stop the garnishment, it simply is stopped on it's own once you have paid back the amount owed.

Thanks for the info. Will we get some kind of document to say it has been satisfied. Will it make my credit better now that it has been paid.
