My 2001 Dodge Ram 1500 is hard to start. It turns over and over for 5-10 seconds before finally starting. It ALWAYS starts, and when it does it runs like a new truck. How can I fix it so it starts right away when I turn the key?

It needs a tune up, the starter is going bad, the battery is weak. Take your pick. Any or all of them can contribute to hard starting.

Replace the spark plugs (Champion only) with the exact ones that came in the truck.
