I stole Money from my work using my debit card and am being Investigated :eek: I didn't steal the money for me it was for a friend who needed it. I know it was really dumb on my part and Im not denying I didn't do it... However my question is... I have a record in the USA... right now I have a Probation Violation Warrant in the USA... Now I'm going to be processed here in Canada for Theft under $5000 and I know my fingerprint will be taken... my Question is when the RCMP run my prints will my USA Record pop up ? I have nothing tying me to the USA. I do have Dual Citizenship by right of the Jay Treaty...

Yes it will show up. And this will be another probation violation to add to the warrant.

Depending on where the warrant is for, and if they are willing to come get you, once fingerprinted you can be held and transported after a hearing back to the US to face those charges.

Also, the money you stole was from your work making this a theft from employer which is treated very seriously in Canada. You need to see a lawyer.
