Right, so there's this guy I like but I don't know what to do to get him to actually talk to me! People come and tell me that he likes me but he never really talks to me, recently my friend was talking to his best mate and she told me that he doesn't want to bother because whenever he talks to me I walk away. I don't get it he never has spoken to me, I wish he had but he hasn't. I feel that there is a connection but I don't know what to do and now I think that he's totally going off me. How do I get him to tlak to me and get to know me without coming across as an idiot?

Can you find something that interests both of you to catch his attention? Like if he likes football say "So how'd you like that game?......" Then try to keep a conversation going about whatever so he sees you do talk and not walk.

Be yourself an just ask him out for coffee or something. If he declines than move on. Nothing venture is nothing gain!

Sounds like he's just as nervous as you are. He's probably worried about coming off as an idiot as well.

Just talk to him about anything... once you get over those first few words it'll get easier to keep the conversation going.

I'm not sure of your age but you sound fairly young... do you have any same types of classes? Maybe start a conversation about the math course, or the soccer game everyone will be attending after school... You've got an edge because you have some of the same friends.

He sounds like he's just as shy as you are. Both of you are too scared to make the first move. Why don't you step it up then? Why don't you ask him to hang out sometime.

There are ways you can flirt with him with how you look at him and your body language. Try to hold his eye contact for a second longer than usual and then smile and see how he reacts. You can always say "hi" and smile when you walk by him! These are little things that will encourage him to pursue you if he's interested because he'll know you'll be receptive and more approachable!
