Sharing 1 copier with 2 networks
I have a Toshiba e-Studio 600 copier that has one NIC. I need to shear it among 2 different networks. Network address schemes are as follows:
Network 1
Server /DNS/DHCP
10.0.0.4
Subnet Mask
255.255.255.0
Default Gateway/Firewall
10.0.0.5
DHCP Address Range
10.0.0.20 – 10.0.0.99
Has its own T1 connect to a an ISP’s managed firewall
Network Switch that connects PC to Domain Controller and Firewall T1: NetGear FS726T
Copier is currently in use on Network 1
Copier
Static IP Address 10.0.0.100
Subnet Mask
255.255.255.0
Default Gateway
10.0.0.5
Network 2
Server /DNS/DHCP
10.0.1.2
Subnet Mask
255.255.255.0
Default Gateway/Firewall
10.0.1.1
DHCP Address Range
10.0.1.20 – 10.0.1.100
Has its own T1 connect to a WatchGuard Firebox X550e
Network Switch that connects PC to Domain Controller and Firewall Firebox X550e: NetGear GS724T
What is the best way to configure it to share the copier? I don’t mind purchasing a router if needed.
