    No pagefile - can't enter Win2000
I ghosted a working c drive with windows 2000 pro to a new (larger) hard drive. It boots normally until it gets to the blue screen to load user settings. I then get an error message that my pagefile is either missing or too small and it then tells me how to correct the problem from within windows. The problem is that it doesn't ever get to windows! This also happens in safe mode. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

I have the same problem. Did you ever solve it?

I ended up formating and re-installing.

    Re: No pagefile - can't enter Win2000
I finally solved the problem by following the instructions in Microsoft Knowledge Base Article 249321, "Unable to Log on if the Boot Partition Drive Letter Has Changed" at http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=249321 The solution required that I establish a network connection and edit the registry over the network, then swap the drive letter assignments to my C: and D: drives in the registry, according to Microsoft Knowledge Base Article 223188, "How To Restore the System/Boot Drive Letter in Windows" at http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=223188
