    Not eating the food
I'm sorry, I hate to be a pain in the arse, but I changed to natural food and they don't seem to be eating it.
At first I thought it was because one was on antibiotics, but now has been 2 days and not much eating. No one is starving, and still acting normal, but I'm wondering if I should get a different flavor. They have never been picky before. I am kind of in the mind set, if you are hungry you will eat, but maybe I am wrong.

Did they eat the natural food when you first bought it? Or have they not liked it from the beginning?

You could try a different flavor, it doesn't hurt.
I always buy the same brand and I usually try to get a different flavor every so often just so they don't get bored with eating the same thing every day.
Changing the flavor is fine but if you change the brand though you do it slowly or it can cause diarreah or constipation :)

They haven't seemed to like it from the beginning, but I thought it might have been from the antibiotics on one, and the other seems to follow. It is sweet potato and fish (sounds good to me) it is supposed to be good for dogs with allergies and I have had trouble with my baby boy (not really a baby) with his skin. I'm just trying to do the right thing and I can't seem to get it right. They have never been picky before, so I'm thinking that they are just not sure.
I have mixed their old food in with it and they are not even picking that out.
I'm hoping that it is because of the whole ordeal with the medicine and party hat and not being regular in their habits.
No one is getting skinny, so I'm not worried about that.
How long do you think I should wait till I change the flavor? They are both grazers and 1 1/2 cups have been eaten in the last 2 days, but they also tried the new home made liver cookies. I'm only giving them 1/4 now.

Three days later I decided to add a tablespoon of old soft dog food into part on the kibble and put it on top of the other kibble.
They ate it, so I will continue to do that lessoning the old stuff little by little. I can't afford to go out and spend another 35.00 on a bag of dog food. They will get used to it and next time I will try a smaller bag of a different flavor. Unless of course they end up loving this after their stubbornness wears off.

Hopefully they will warm to the new food eventually...
Some dogs really are very fussy and it takes a lot of trial and error to break them out of it :)
Let us know how it goes :)

You might try a little chicken bullion, like 3 tablespoons, just to enhance the aroma.

Plain mashed potatoes are better for you with a dab of gravy, n'est-ce pas?

Everything is great now, they are eating it like I never changed.
Now I can just reap the benefits of healthy dogs
