When cats eat too fast, they will sometimes vomit their food shortly after eating. This normal happens the odd time, especially when changing to a more tastey food.
Cats can also be quite picky about their food. Quickly changing brands, or types - like from a dry to wet food - will cause additional stress and can lead to vomiting. You usually need to give your cat time to adjust to a new brand of food - slowing transitioning from old to new.
Like people, some cats have sensitive stomachs and have to be careful about what they eat. There are special "diet" and "sensitive stomach" foods available that can be helpful.
It sounds like she is eating at least some of the wet food, so she is eating... If any of the above factors seem likely, you probably have no need to worry... Just watch what works for your cat.
If you suspect something more serious is up, taking your cat to the vet is the best bet as continued vomiting is also a sign of more serious problems.
My cat had a similar problem once. He had an infection in his gums and worms from eating a flea. I couldn't tell any of this by looking at him and had to take him to the vet. He was put on antibiotics and wormed and he was better in a week.
Yes take your pet to the vet immediately.
You don't give the age of your kitty or if she is an indoor only, or outdoor cat. If your kitty is 12 years or older, could be hyperthyroidism. My first course of action would always be to consult your vet.
Go to the vet! What is the condition of her mouth? Teeth, Ulcers, Odors? Also, what brand of food? How old and have you had any bloodwork done?
