I would like to know what choices I have with a felony record

In most States you will have a problem with a profession that requires a license - such as health care, accounting - or bonding.

Otherwise you apply for jobs just like the rest of us out there.

What State? Some States have provisions which allow felons to become licensed. Others do not.

Depending on your state, no, most likely you cannot be an LPN with a felony record. As an example, the hospital I work for does background checks on EVERYBODY right down to the janitors and the cooks.
