Hello my name is chelsea I am 16 years old. I used to go out with a boy called joshua and he was my first love and I lost my virginity to him wich meant allot to me. He adored me very much and we were very close we done everything together. We were always happy and we were with each other from the age of 12 till the age of 15. We never argued or got fed up of each other. Well about 4 weeks ago josh told me he was gay and I was very shocked he told me he had been like this for nearly 3 years. Josh talks gay and he acts gay he has grew up with girls all his life he don't no his dad. Allot of people think and always asks if he's gay and calls him gay. Do you think that I could have turned him gay by putting him of or do you think he turned gay because he's give in on people because they call him gay. I love him allot and will get back together with him any day but now he's gay so wich has hurt me allot :( plzz help and tell me what the problem is :confused:

aww to be honest I think your ex is looking for attention I don't think he's gay. Just talk to him about it, use are only young, he can't tell if hs gay or not. =]

Becoming homosexual is a personal choice and should remain that way. You should be supporting to your ex if you love him. Although the world is more accepting of sexual diversity there are still the conservative bunch.

"acopming out of the closset is difficult and for you it might seem like a dismal event but you should be thankful that the relationship was ended before more tension grew.

But all that aside he is young I would imagine, sexual curiosity,and attention might be contributing factors to his confession.

I just like to know how does a person talk or act gay?

Trying to talk someone out of being gay isn't a good plan. It's not like he is planning on robbing a bank. You suppose to be his friends so if anything you should support him because I am sure it wasn't easy for him to tell you. So trying to tell him out of being gay will only push him away from you.

He, as you, are are very young, and learning how to cope with your feelings, and deal with the realities of life.

No, you didn't make him gay, and I doubt that anyone did, but your just finding out about his feelings, as before you didn't know, and he didn't tell you.

Just as you are learning, and growing, so is he, so don't feel bad, or guilty about what someone else is going through.

You both will eventually understand yourselves, even if you don't get back together.
