I have spots of what looked like particles of dirt in my laundry room corners. When I attempted to clean it up it moved. Tiny black bugs or larvae. The laundry room is connected to the garage and cat box is down there too. Bus only appear in two corners. One is where carpeting ends. Any ideas? They come back each time I wipe them up. Should I clean with vinegar?

Are the "particles of dirt" bugs larger than coffee grounds? Would you estimate their numbers in the tens? The hundreds? Several? Can you catch them on a piece of invisible tape and affix them to a white card so you can take them somewhere for identification?
