Flexible cables means the cables which are not having mechanical protection by means of armouring. These are named as ayy or nyy. Means a stands for aluminium conductor, first y stands for pvc insulation, 2nd y stands for pvc sheathing. N stands for copper conductor. Rest of all yy are as per aluminium cable.
