    Manipulative step mom
I don't know what to do about my Dad's wife! My parents have been separated for about 10 years now, and my Dad remarried about 4 years ago. The whole time my Dad has been married I have lived in Hawaii, and they lived on the mainland, so I have barely gotten to know my Dad's new wife aside from their trips out to visit. In the time I did spend with her, she seemed very quiet, but also quite nice. I am recently divorced, and I have a two year old little girl. During a recent trip to the mainland to visit, she and my father convinced me that I should stay permanently so that they could help me with my daughter so I wouldn't have to struggle as I was in Hawaii.
I have re-enrolled myself in college and I work full time as a waitress since I have moved here. I take excellent care of my daughter and I love her more than anything in the world. Lately though, my Dad's wife has been telling my Dad that she doesn't agree with my lifestyle and that he shouldn't be helping me anymore, financially or with babysitting so that I can work. I find this a little ironic since she literally spends the entire day on a screened in porch watching fox news and chain smoking. She drinks brandy all evening long and won't even leave the house to get groceries. My Dad does EVERYTHING!! I had no idea it was like this until I came here! I tried to talk to my Dad and nicely suggest that she should seek counseling but he is totally in denial. I his eyes she can do no wrong. She tells him that I am spoiled and manipulative and is ruining their moorage since I have moved here... funny since she was the one who convinced me to stay here promising me that she would babysit for me and help me whenever I needed. Now I can't even enter her house with out her rolling her eyes or making some kind of a sly, below the belt remark. I feel like she is totally poisoning my relationship with my father. He has to lie to her now if he ever does anything nice for me so she doesn't get mad. Its insane... Im just trying to make my way with my daughter and get my life on track. Since I moved to this new city and I don't know anyone, Id love to still have my Dad as a part of my life, but she is making it really hard. How do I address this with my Dad so that he can see what she is doing?

You said you have job - maybe you can rent place.

And for your DAD... Where did he found her?
Woman like she is is really manipulative(could you call it evil?)
