Not getting full power to half of my house
Ok so we went to bed last night and everything was working. We get up this morning and the fridge, microwave, and all lights on one side of our home aren't working. The A/C sounds like it is trying to come on but it's not getting enough power? The lights in the kitchen will come on dimly and keep going on and off. Also the ventilation fans in the hall come on but sound like they're not getting enough power, they barely run.

Reset main breaker in panel. Are you confident in your ability to check voltages in panel?

    KISS

This is usually related to a loose connection or bad connection. It can be anywhere. It may likely be in a place that you can't service. i.e. the overhead drop splice.

Best choice: call the power company

If your able to use a voltmeter and can safely remove the fuse box cover, holler.

Sounds like you may of lost one leg of your 220V . This would cause you to lose half your house and any that runs on 220v to not run or not run correct. This can happen any where from the transformer on the pole to your circuit panel.

This can also be caused by a issue at the transformer or main power line, we had that issue at our office last week for two days due to power issues coming in.

But it can also be one of the main breakers bad, loose wire and more.
