For Windows the best Browsers are Opera and Netscape.
IE is the worst Browser on the earth and only beginers use it.
If you need the fastest Browser take Opera, if you need a strong Browser take Netscape.

I'm putting in my vote for Mozilla Firefox (not that Netscape and Opera are bad).

Internet Explorer is an archaic browser that lacks any modern features and rivals swiss cheese for security holes.

I'm with psi42 here. I use Firefox all the time now.

If you want to stick to an IE based browser though - try Avant Browser (www.avantbrowser.com). It's got more features than IE, but still uses the same engine. Being in a different location also means that it isn't targeted by a lot of spyware etc. like IE is.

That said, I haven't touched it since I found FireFox.

I would suggest Firefox as it is superior, however, being a new browser, a lot of financial institutions and e commerce sites do not yet support it and only support IE or Netscape.
