I want to update may parts so It could be more powerful an faster so I could plaly games and work on poser and Crarra without it slowing or frezzing up Ya know what I mean. Ya know and add more space to my computer.

Without knowing your current parts and budget, it is going to be difficult for anyone to give you an accurate recommendation for compatible parts. However, you can expect to be replacing the motherboard, the processor, and memory. For gaming, you can also expect to replace the video adapter. The power supply may also need to be replaced to adequately power the new parts.

To add more storage space for data, a larger hard drive is all that is needed, but again without knowing your current computer it is difficult to make a specific recommendation. If your current computer is as old as the hills, the predominant readily available drives currently on the market (SATA interface) may not be compatible.

At this point the only parts not replaced for a typical system would be optical drives, the case itself, mouse, keyboard, etc. Yet, for comparable expense, you could just purchase a complete new system with a warranty and updated operating system.
