Be honest with the counselor about how you feel, tell her you don't trust her or understand how she can help. A good counselor will help you with the trust issue as well as give you valuable skills and knowledge that can help you cope with PPD. The quickest way to get better is to do what your doctor tells you. PPD can progress to a very serious life threatening problem if not taken care of. Best of luck to you.
