Please go get counseling Katie. It is important to be seeing someone face to face who can help you cope with skills that are relevant to your daily life. Its okay if you are uncomfortable talking to strangers and don't understand or agree that counseling is going to help. Be honest with the counselor about how you feel, tell her you don't trust her or understand how she can help. A good counselor will help you with the trust issue as well as give you valuable skills and knowledge that can help you cope with PPD. The most quick way to get better is to do what your doctor tells you. PPD can progress to a very serious life threatening problem if not taken care of. Best of luck to you.
