I have domain environment in which Windows Server 2003 is Domain Controller and Windows XP and Vista are clients. We have applied a Group Policy about paaswords that

Minimum Password Age is 0
Password Complexity is Disabled
Minimum Password Length is 4
Password Remeber: 0


But on client side user cannot change password

On XP, Error like this : minimum 4 characters should use, donot use past 10 passwords and change password after 30 days etc.

On Vista, Error like this: password cannot meet comlexity and length requirements etc.


However, as I mentioned policy, All passwords meet each above mentioned requirement.

What's the reson of error

Go to active directory ans users, right click on the user and then reset the password

I can do it but I want that user can change password himself on Client PC. The error comes only on Client Side. From server, I can change password.
