Hey I'm 12 years old and I like this older boy in my school.we hang out sometimes but not all the times.my locker is right next to his so we talk in btween classes.I know he really likes me.my friend ask him for me.I really like him.im a too young or should I ask him out??

You are too young to be dating. And definitely too young to be asking boys out.

Why don't you guys just hang out? I mean that's what dating is all about [when the sexual part is taken out of the equation].

I'm sure your parents would be okay if you, him and other friends go bowling, to the movies, have a movie night a someone's house, go rollerblading, swimming, etc.

Personally, I also think that 12 is too young to be dating. What's the rush? You have plenty of time for dating later. Enjoy being young and have fun because you will look back someday and realize these were some of the best times of your life. I was still into baseball and video games at that age.
