OK. So my boyfriend and I were dating for almost 6 months. And I thought things were going great.he seemed happy and normal. And even on the day he broke up with me he said he really loved me and would always love me. But if he loves me then why did he break up with me? He said that I was to clingy, but he also said he doesn't know why he broke up with me.I asked him if he regrets it and he said no.but do your think that he really might regret it?
He's the kid of hardcore person who doesn't show his emotions. And hides behind a lot of stuff.his "past life" was bad he has done a lot of crazy things and his parents are divorced and he was kicked out of his house and stuff he's also got a lot of anger so I think that might have something to do with it too. I think he's just being prideful and won't say sorry because he doesn't want to feel stupid. But I'm not sure.and I think he might be afraid of commitment.so I was thinking that I would just let him have his space for a while till he needs it and mabey he will relize that he really wants to be with me.
The day that he broke up with me was the day before our 6 month anniversry and he wanted to go to his friends house instead of staying home with me for our anniversry. Do you think that he would have broken up with me so he could go to his friends house?

I think you've answered a lot of your own questions. If he complained that you were too clingy then you probably were. That's always a major turn-off. Also he has emotional problems just like you mentioned. It's hard to have any kind of meaningful relationship with such a person and even harder to talk to them rationally about it. I wouldn't get my hopes up waiting for him to realize that he wants to be with you. Even if he did, given his condition it wouldn't work out well. I'd write this one off and move on.
