How can I file for abandonment in rhea co. TN?
Ok... If Someone could help me I would really appreciate it. Does anyone know how I can file for abandonment to get a divorce in TN? It has been 6 years, and I am still trying to figure out how to do this... I have been to the court house and they sent me to an attourney. The attournies and the court house are sending me back and forth to one another. I am still... after 6 years married to an illegal immigrant who abused me the whole time we were married. I now am engaged to someone else ( That treats me very well) but cannot marry him until I am divorced. The illegal immigrant went back to mexico the day we finally split. I am frusterated because I can get no help from the legal system on this situation.
