    Stuck bathtub drain
The plunger in the bathtub drain is stuck partially closed. Took of lever cover and can't budge the chain to the plunger. Any ideas on what to put down there or what to try to free up this plunger?

When that happens to me I squirt some WD-40 down the tube and try to pull it up by brute force. Sometime I take a heavy wire coat hanger and put a tight bend in it and hook the plunger at the crossbar on top of the plumger and pull it up that way. Good luck, Tom

Thanks. Put about half a can of WD40 down the tube this afternoon and still can't budge it. Have to go away tomorrow so I'll squirt some more down there and let it sit for a day. May end up just having to take the pipe off.
