We filed Chapter 7 bankruptcy and included an equipment lease. The BK has been discharged since 1/26/09 and we still have the equipment. How long will it take for them to repo? We have not made payments for over 9 months...

I would guess that the equipment leasing company got the notice of bankruptcy overlooked the fact that you have been discharged, and is not sure when the automatic stay is over (or has forgotten about it). How much is the equipment worth?

Were they in contact with your company (or you) prior to the bankruptcy regarding the delinquent payments? If anything, the leasing company should be coming by soon or calling soon about the return of the equipment. If you do not wish to have this equipment (for fear of being stolen or destroyed, etc), please give them a reminder call to pick up their equipment.
