    I need to know song and the artist who sang it.
    I want to know this song, it goes something like this: "I'll take you up, I'll take you into the night and lift you up, like you never been, never been"...
    It came out in around the early nineties and is sung by a guy with a great raspy voice.

    "Mardones" not Madrones, but yeah, good song. It hit number one on the charts two separate times, a few years apart!
