Whirlpool Senseon Dryer Black wire melting?
    Hi Guys
Our dryer just stopped working. I found that the main 3 wire cable that goes into the dryer had the one wire that corrects to the "Black" internal wire of the dryer all melted at the terminal. I cut all terminals off on the incoming side and replaced them. The dryer then worked for about a month. Today it stopped working again. Now the black wire melted off the terminal. We believe we do not overload the dryer and always put it on "Normal" load. The vent has no obstructions. Can I just replace all the terminals on the "inside" this time. I'm just worried that this may cause a fire. Any ideas please? Thanks you Andre

Either the terminal is defective from overheating or the circuit is overloaded. Use a Amprobe to test the current draw on the black leg.
