I watched this movie a long time ago and I cannot for the sake of me remember what it was. It started with kids running home from school? And this one kid goes into his room to find a box in his room. He gets in it and it takes him off to this cartoon land or something. He becomes a cartoon and I remember he is checking himself out as a cartoon. One side of his is real and one side of him is a cartoon and he decides to go into the cartoon land. Then at the end of the movie he calls his friend to tell them about his adventure and the friend says they got to go because the box showed up in their room.

Please help me remember the title of this movie. Does anyone know what movie or show I am talking about?
