    Juice fasting
    Hello.
My question regards juice fasting. I did a 3 day juice fast three months ago, the purpose being to rest and cleanse the intestines, as I have done many times in the past. But this time I lost 15 lbs from an already slender frame(usually 145), and the weight hasn't come back. I look malnourished with rib bones protruding. What did I do wrong? Did I damage the villi in the intestines? How can I fix it? Thanks for any advice.

Hobbit, hi, other than your juice fasting, do you usually eat a well-balance health meal? And how often do you go on the juice fasting?

I suggests resuming a well-balance meal plan. And put off the juice fasting for a while, too.

And yes, you may have "cleaned" the good bacteria, as well. Definitely include low-fat yogurts to your healthy diet, as you may already know. ;)

    Hi,

A 3 day juice fast is not long enough to cause any damage to a healthy person.

Even a 3 day fast on pure water is good.

You said you weigh 145 before the fast? So now you are 130?

I don't know how tall you are but it doesn't sound ridiculously thin to me.

Everyone has a different body type. If you are eating healthy and regular and the weight has stayed off, perhaps your body is happy with this weight.

If you are a healthy person, then I think you should just not worry about it.

You cannot destroy the vilii in your intestines with a 3 day fast. If anything, it cleans out the colon of harmful bacteria. If you're concerned eat some Kefir or a probiotic drink.
