    Maoning noise from toilet
When our toilet is flushed there is a moaning vibration in the pipes. It stops if we crack open another water outlet. However if we again close the cracked outlet the noise continues until the toilet stops running. What causes this and how can it be remedied?

I am almost certain that this is caused by the valve in your commode. If you know how to take the valve apart you can put a new neoprene part inside, if not you can change the complete valve.

If you have a water cut off valve on the wall under the tank of the commode, be sure to turn the water off there before you take anything apart. If you don't have a cut off there then you need to find where you can turn the water off.

Yes it sure does sound like the washer in the fill valve is loose and vibrating. Does your valve look like one of these two? https://www.askmehelpdesk.com/attach...p_image001.jpg
