Me and this guy have been talking on the phone, texting, and hanging out pretty frequently.

Well, this morning we were texting and he was answering immediately. Curious, I asked him if he likes me. He didn't respond!

Why is this? :(

I don't know maybe he is digesting what you said and consider if he wants to be with you or not.

Maybe he doesn't feel the way as you but don't know how to tell you or don't want to hurt your feelings.

Only he knows and maybe he would tell you soon. Hopes it works out.

I was hoping that maybe he was just shy or something...

You know him better than I do so I must ask "is he a shy person?"

He is pretty introverted, and weird around most people. But he's pretty open with me. He said he thinks I'm pretty. But I guess his "shyness" wouldn't really be an issue if he genuinely wanted to be with me, right?

Just be patient , by asking him you've let him know how you feel and he's probably weighing up if he has those feelings for you.

Have you heard from him yet? Maybe he didn't get the text... it does happen. Or he's just taking it slow.

He's probably scared to put himself out there by complimenting you...

Why would you ask a guy a trick question like that? Not fair. If he says yes, you'll think its love, if he says friends only, you'll hate him, and if he says no, you'll be heartbroken. He can't win, so he did the next best thing, AVOID answering. How old are you both anyway??

No, still nothing... :(
I know that sometimes he'll call me and my phone won't ring, or it won't pick up voicemail, and sometimes when I text him he doesn't get it, but... I would assume he did if he was answering immediately for all the others.

I guess I should have thought it through a little more before asking... but he really acts like he does, and sometimes I don't have much patience and I've been thinking about it a lot lately. We're both 20.
