    Shower faucet gasket
Had a shower installed 10 yrs. Ago... I need a new gasket in the faucet, but cannot find
The BRAND of the faucet so that I can buy another one. Any ideas where to look for the
Brand or are these gaskets a standard size? What should be my next step? The faucet is a wall faucet with 1 knob and it leaks a lot when the water is primarily hot. (We do have the knob off and can see the C-clamp) please advise... Thanks a

Not a gasket for this problem but maybe a cartridge. A picture would help identify what you have. Most single handle shower mixers are cartidges or ball valves that can be rebuillt. Shut off your supply lines , remove the handle and escutcheon. Tell us what you see or post a pic.

If you have gone far enough in disassembly to see what you called a C-clamp, the brand of your faucet may be a Moen, they are built with a little horse shoe clip that holds the cartridge in place. But if you will send a picture we could probably tell you for sure.

Right below that clip do you see the letters HC ? Be sure your supply lines are closed before you follow our next instructions.
