You get a lawyer, get your ex husband to give up his rights, and get your new husband to adopt.

If your ex won't give up his rights, and there's no way you can prove that he's a danger to the children, then you're kind of stuck.

A lawyer, however, would be able to walk you through how to do this, and be able to let you know what is and is not possible.

I'm confused as to how you managed to have 4 kids and your ex husband is not on their birth certificate.

But Synnen is right, to get their names changes to your new husband's he will have to adopt them.
