    Civil judgements
    I have a court order to appear for a civil judgement, but I am presently suffering from sever back pain and sicatic nereve in leg from fall. Do I have to appear for court even though court order. Can I reschedule or settle over phone?

    Please don't keep posting the same question. If you cannot get the case adjourned (and you will need medical proof that you cannot appear) a Judgment can be taken against you (if one has not already been filed). If there is a Judgment and this is some sort of discovery, you can be held in contempt.
