How can you tell if a guy likes you? My crush is really confusing me! He told me we couldn't be friends but is constantly looking at me! Every time I look at him, (which is a lot) he is looking back at me! How can you tell?

So he shows signs of interest, then other times he goes out of his way to avoid me! Like he will walk across the school hall if he sees me, to get about 10 feet away so he won't have to pass me.

It definitely shows he has interest in you, although I don't know about the "you can't be friends" thing...

Just try asking him casual questions, or if you are not too shy just ask him out (if he's single).

All guys (people) are different, so I cannot tell for sure if he likes you, but it seems this way to me. If you are SURE that all of these things he does are around you (not someone/somewhere else) then he definitely notices you, and shows interest.

Try to strike up a conversation with him. If he responds positively, he probably likes you, and you could try to take it further.

Thanks! Oh, you. He said we couldn't be friends because his church says it's inappropriate to date under age 16.

I understand that, but what does dating and friendship have in common??
I don't see why some guys cannot have girl friends that they don't need to be girlfriends... it is two completely different relationships, and if he cannot see that, it is his problem.

Every situation. Each person is different. So it all depends. Maybe you should ask your crush. That is my advice.
